Here’s What We Know About the Samsung Galaxy S11…

With February fast-approaching, let’s take a look at what we know so far..

We’re slowly edging towards the release date of the new Samsung Galaxy flagship phone – and we couldn’t be more excited!

What do we know so far?

Well, after months of rumours, speculation, and supposed leaks – we may have just gotten our first glimpse at the new device.

Leaked by XDA Developers – the Samsung S11 (Or S20 – depending on who’s rumours you believe) appears to have 4 rear cameras housed within a rectangular ridge, one being a 108 mega-pixel and one being an 8K video recording.

If the leaks are correct, then the new phone really emphasises screen space – with a 6.9″ AMOLED display on the largest of the handsets and no bezels. The only other thing on the front of the phone is a tiny front-facing camera hole.

Said to be coming in three different models; Regular, Plus, and Ultra – users on all 3 of the new S11/S20s will experience curved edges, just like last time. Samsung has, however, apparently opted to use 2.5D glass in order to convey depth rather than using an overly curved screen.

There will also be a volume rocker and a power button – but no Bixby Button this time around.

In terms of battery life, you won’t be running out any time soon. With a large 4,500mAh battery combined with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon processor – the new phone should be all smooth sailing (or scrolling) throughout usage.

It’s also been rumoured that all devices will come with 12GB of RAM by default, including the budget model.

Price-wise: we can expect similar prices to last year’s release. However, if rumours are true that each Galaxy S20 may have 5G connectivity – prices for each model will most definitely increase.

Either way – until DJ Koh takes to the San Fran stage next month – we won’t have all our answers. But until then, let us know what you think!
