Samsung Galaxy A3
The Samsung Galaxy A3 is a slim and sharp junior member of Samsung’s new metal-clad line-up.
It’s not all about the looks for this Smartphone, with a high resolution front camera, 64-bit chipset, and LTE and AMOLED available. It comes in both single and dual-SIM, which is a popular combo in the midrange Smartphones.
The A3 is one of the thinnest smartphones Samsung has ever created, which measures a tiny 6.3mm in thickness. Handling the Galaxy A3 is a real pleasure – the phone is impressively thin and light, the build quality is great and the matte rear cover provides a solid grip. It would easily fit even in a shirt pocket and it’s so light that you may completely forget that it’s even there.
It looks great – for instance, with the back cover, even though its non-removable, its smooth surface glistens as the light falls on it. In fact this finish will remind you of how a pearl would glisten under light which adds a sort of a feminine feel to the white smartphone.
The beautiful metal work doesn’t stop with the frame, with a metal trim around the camera lens, loudspeaker, the power key and volume rocker. Even the parts that are plastic are and look like premium quality.
All-in-all the design of the A3 looks extremely attractive and professional.
The User Interface
The A3 runs on Androids latest 4.4.4 KitKat which has been enhanced with TouchWiz UI. This is nearly the same version which powers the Samsung Galaxy Aplha but with the extra touch of fresh supporting themes which is the first in the Galaxy lineup.
Its difficult to fault this handset. The built quality is perfect – it is one of Samsungs thinnest handsets which is light and easy to hold in your hand. The display is modern and professional, with excellent use in sunlight. The overall performance of the handset is on par with its mid-range family. All-in-all this is a superb handset for those who want an easy-to-use, attractive, small handset.
