Nokia N73 |
The perfect companion for a business person who's
an avid texter and
who likes to
take photos..
|

The hotly anticipated Nokia N73 camera phone has nearly every bell and
whistle going including a 3.2-Megapixel Camera. It's a lot thinner than
the N70 and weighs less as well, making it one of the lightest smart
phones available.
Voice and video calling are two other strengths of the N73.
I spy... with my little (errr,
camera phone)...
The Nokia N73 snaps superb hi-resolution stills with accurate colours
and precise focus, letting users who want more control tweak a range of options to get pictures just the way they want them! That's right you can even use in-phone colour effects and red eye removal. The large, high-resolution screen not only makes a great viewfinder, but also works a charm when browsing or viewing pictures you've already taken.
It has an excellent loudspeaker and good Bluetooth headset connectivity to back up the first-class voice quality. Add to this impeccable signal reception and speaker independent voice dialling to further improves matters.
The N73 is also a perfect choice for all you avid texters out there -
with its comfortable keypad and the previously mentioned large screen
which shows a whopping 170 characters at a time. Unlike many other
phones currently available, the N73 also allows for archiving messages into folders and even stores a nearly unlimited number of messages - plus there's a decent e-mail client to boot.

Music to your ears:
The N73 is also a great music device. It has a music player that
supports a wide range of formats including MP3, WMA and AAC, and also an FM radio with Visual Radio functionality to display information about the artist and track playing. It is also fortunate enough to include a good quality stereo FM radio as well as mobile TV capabilities.
However, we don't really care that much for the confusing split-browser setup.
While not being pushed as a music phone, the handset's music player is fully featured with support for both MP3 and WMA, and there's a bundled set of earphones. But don't expect to load up on tunes though;
because there's only room for 11 or so.
In Summary:
Business users will get a good companion in the N73, thanks to quality
connectivity options and its ability to view documents in all the
popular Office formats. It's a superb choice for shutterbugs with its
excellent camera and a multitude of sharing options. Add in decent
scheduling and Exchange ActiveSync compatibility and you have a great
little work tool. Whether it's for Business or home this phones
definitely a winner.
