The Nokia 6700 Classic is no namby-pamby, fancy-pants smart phone, however instead it’s a solid & beautiful 3G mobile that covers all bases.
Yes indeed the Nokia 6700 harks back to a buy gone age when phones were simpler to use and also really shiny!
But this is also no old fashioned phone – No - because you’ll be pleased to discover a 5-megapixel camera, 3G, a brilliant screen which means viewing videos or pictures is a real pleasure. Plus it comes with HSPA connectivity; has a simple & an attractive user interface - and also GPS.
The Nokia 6700 Classic is a pleasure to behold. Like a “Knight in a shiny suit of amour” it’s heavy stainless-steel case and gentle curves make the Nokia 6700 a lovely object to hold in your hand – but unfortunately it does attract fingerprints instantly.

While the 56mm (2.2-inch) screen is a tad small, it’s bright and vivid. Photos look stunning when being viewed and the icons are extremely clear and readable. It’s the camera on this Mid Range phone that makes the difference which takes good shots in bright light. At a mighty 5 Megapixels it is a great camera indeed for phone in this price range.

Nokia widgets allow you to down load apps like Facebook – and while it's not quite as glamorous as the touch screen versions you'll find on much pricier phones like Apple's iPhone and the HTC Hero, everything's where it should be and it'll easily keep you connected to friends.

The shiny chrome may be too blinding for some of those Business people out there - but we think the metal case feels solid and looks really great. The 6700 handles the basics well. Good call quality is a definite plus it’s easy-to-use. The good 5-megapixel camera, customisable home page and Ovi Store access, are simply the icing on the cake. The heady combination of low price, good looks and quality make the 6700 a classic by name...
