Working for a Company vs Working for Yourself
Considering making the jump?
Whether you’re a business owner, a business employee, or your own boss – we’ve all been there. We all want what we can’t have.
You work at home, you want to be in an office. You work in an office, you want to be at home.
But which one is actually better?
With the help of Sarah Cooper’s hilarious animations, we’re going to take you through the big debate.
Someone telling you what to do all of the time? You hate it.
Nobody telling you what to do at all? Yep, you still hate it.
In this case, working for yourself definitely wins.
Rolling straight out of bed 100% beats the morning getting-ready process that comes with working in an office.
Here’s one for those of us working in offices.
Once you clock out, you’re (usually) done for the day. You can leave all your worries behind you at your desk.
When you work for yourself? Not the case. AT ALL.
It’s difficult to crown a winner, here.
Is it those who are free to chat away all day, or those who don’t have to speak to anyone at all?
One thing’s for sure, when you work for someone else – you usually have a pretty set schedule, with totally free weekends!
Working for yourself, however… Things can get a little jumbled up.
Either way, is anyone ever really satisfied?
When you work for a company, someone else is deciding your salary for you. When you work for yourself, you’ve got to deal with the question of ‘can I even give myself a salary’?
Again – one of the great struggles.
When you work for a company, you’ve got to build up the motivation to get up and out every single day. Working for yourself, however, you’ve got to face the fact that you’re probably not going to leave the house at all on any given day.
