The brand new Sony Ericsson C905 boasts the biggest built in camera on the market – that’s right - it features a massive 8.1 Megapixel camera. Wow!! That’s absolutely huge!
It also features 3G Connectivity for “super fast” uploads & downloads and has GPS too! This is truly a killer handset for the Business person that needs quality pictures and the convenience of an “all in one” device.
What’s so great about the new C905 3G
Camera Phone?
Sony Ericsson has truly out done themselves, with this phone! I personally just bought an 8.0 mega pixel stills camera - and yet this little beauty has that beat already! At 8.1 Mega Pixels it’s the biggest camera phone on the market and boasts a 16 x digital zoom, xenon flash, red eye reduction & image stabiliser feature too!
Thankfully its 8.1-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics isn’t the only knockout punch this device packs....
Never get Lost Again!
With GPS Navigation having a C905 means you’ll always be able to navigate your way around town without fear of ever being lost again. And the Sony Ericsson is also a 3G device - which means you’ll be able to surf the Internet at break neck speed and it also features a lovely slide motion – all in what is basically well rounded sexy looking 3G slide phone.
Sync all your Data
What is Exchange ActiveSync®? If you’re in Business if you share Outlook Calendars you’ll have a computer that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync lets you synchronize a mobile device with your Exchange 2007 mailbox. This means that when you delete an email on your
handset it also deletes it on your PC - or when someone adds something to your diary it also syncs and updates on your handset. Brilliant of what!

Fast with a Capital “F”
The third generation of mobile networks brings the convenience of broadband Internet to your mobile phone. Fast data transfer speeds - up to 3.6Mbit - give you quick, easy access to a world of audio and video streaming, Web surfing, multimedia messaging and email wherever you go!
Oww Matron - Nice Package!
The C905 packs a bit of a wallop in the size department. Slim slider phones like the Motorola Razor pale when compared to the C905. It feels solid and substainial in the hand. The C905’s sliding action is smooth and the keypad and menu keys are well sized, nicely spaced and highly responsive. Which we always like.
Being that the Sony Ericsson C905 is so good at taking photos it also features Picture Blogging ( this is definitely one of our favourite features) Photo Blogging is great for recording things like Building Construction, or some work that’s completed over time – in order to record your progress in photos, with explanations, etc.
The C905 Picture Blogging process is streamlined and simple eg:
Shoot a picture
Click to send it to your blog
Add a title and some text
Click to publish
That’s it!
The C905 is a great all rounder and it receives no complaints whatsoever about standard call quality or battery life. However if you’re one of those people that takes photos of absolutely everything (and with this phone you will) it may pay to keep an eye on the battery as over use may drain your handset prematurely. In certain phone categories, such as music, the C905’s bulk would go against it but when it comes to camera phones this kicks ass!
3G video calling
5 megapixel camera with LED flash, autofocus, 16x digital zoom and lens cover
Video camera
FM radio with RDS
Speakerphone
Voice recorder
Web browser, RSS feeds, blogging
The C902 is the first in a brand new range of Sony Ericsson phones. The "C" stands for Cyber-Shot™. The Cyber-Shot phones have been enormously successful over the past few years. It's a classic-style handset, but it’s really ultra-slim at just 10.5mm. It has a good old-fashioned keypad that has good-size square keys giving tactile feedback which always enables faster texting.
The camera is actually concealed beneath a mini sliding cover. When you slide the cover open, the phone switches to camera mode.
The camera itself, is a 5 megapixel beast with autofocus, image stabiliser and flash. The autofocus uses face-detection software. The image stabiliser software helps to avoid camera blur in low lighting conditions. This can be very useful. The camera also has the BestPic™ feature which can automatically take nine photos in a second, so that you can then choose which one to keep and discard the rest. Sweeeet!
An Accelerometer feature senses which way up the phone is being held, and will automatically rotate your pictures into portrait or landscape mode.Plus a new "Storyteller" application actually lets you create presentations from pictures and show them on Facebook and other social networking sites.
Although it’s a Cyber-Shot phone, the C902 has great music capabilities too.
The media player is fully featured, with support for album art. Sony's MegaBass™ ensures that you get rich sounds out of the small speaker. An FM radio with RDS is also included. You can plug in a stereo headphone, or use an optional Bluetooth stereo headset.
The large amount of built-in memory makes it much easier to manage files.
The phone supports Memory Stick Micro™ (M2™) cards up to 4 GB, which is enough to store 1,000 music tracks. For some reason though, there's no support for microSD cards.
Connectivity is very good, with support for Bluetooth and USB. The USB connection enables the phone to act as a USB mass storage device, so moving music and images between phone and PC is drag-and-drop simplicity itself. As already mentioned, this is a 3G phone, with HSDPA support enabling an "always-on" internet connection with download speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps - comparable with a home broadband connection. As well as being 3G, it's a quadband GSM phone, so should be usable anywhere in the world.
