The MDA compact is so useful it is going to be the busy business persons, lifelong, best friend!
|

The brand new MDA Compact IV features the latest version of the TouchFLO user interface, mobile email and a impressive 3.2 Mega pixel camera!
It is actually also the very first pocket-sized smartphone to have t VGA resolution. This is the This base resolution is used when booting a PC eg: VGA resolution is 640x480 pixels with 16 or 256 colours.
Combine this with the impressive new user interface, and you have a look that easily matches the iPhone, even if it’s not yet a direct competitor.
The MDA Compact IV is a slim touchscreen phone powered by the highly customisable Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system.
It has a clever TouchFLO 3D system, in T-Mobile's white and magenta colour scheme, that allows your photos and music to be searched as you rotate the phone, or via finger gestures on it's impressive screen.
The screen itself is a 2.8 inch TFT-LCD with full VGA resolution meaning you have plenty of room to view pictures from the onboard 3.2 megapixel camera, or movies.
Browsing the web on this phone is great too as the large touchscreen is complimented by broadband like speed thanks to the HSDPA and Wi-fi data connectivity.
MDA Compact IV Features:
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
- Touchflo UI
- Camera: 3.2-megapixels
- SMS, MMS, email, IM
- Music/video player
- Wi-Fi
Browsing the web is a breeze on the MDA Compact thanks to the zoom feature: First you’ll see an overview of the web page and, on this amazing VGA screen, its really crisp. Then you’ll be able to zoom in by tapping the screen! Brilliant or what!!
Meanwhile on the contacts screen, it enables you to scroll through names and a similar one for email shows messages in envelopes. Internet Explorer is included, along with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Unfortunately the 3.2-megapixel camera doesn’t have a flash, but it does have autofocus and it takes a decent image. Video recording is also basic and a little bit jerky.
The music player has fancy graphics, assuming your files have embedded album art, but the controls are limited to playing music, which is odd considering you can select artist, album, genre, age and manage playlists.
Built in GPS completes the impressive feature list and with all this packed into a such a good looking fashion phone.
Summary: The touch screen and slick user interface define this as the PDA of choice. The Touch FLO 3D front end is phenomenal, as is the Opera browser, and the camera isn’t bad either.
